Joe Paterno - Coach
1997 Press Pass Torquers - Personally Signed
Joe Paterno was the head football coach of Penn State for 46 years and was on the staff for 61. He holds the record for most wins in Division 1 history with 409 and is the only coach to ever reach 400 victories. He coached 5 unbeaten and untied teams. He is the only coach to ever win all of the major bowl games (Cotton, Rose, Fiesta, Sugar and Orange). Joe won 2 national championships, 3 Big Ten championships and has 24 bowl wins in 27 appearances, both NCAA records. He passed Paul "Bear" Bryant in 2001 with a 4th quarter comeback win over Ohio State to become the all-time winningest coach. He was later passed by Bobby Bowden, only to regain the lead and hold onto the record for good. Joe passed away at age 85 on January 23rd, 2012.

John won numerous awards for his work both on and off the field. He won the William V. Campbell Trophy in 2013, the 84th James E. Sullivan Award in 2014, was a 2 time First Team Capital One Academic All-American, and earned 3 time Academic All-Big Ten honors. Urschel was also named 2 time First Team All-Big Ten, 3rd team All-American by the AP, 4th team All-American by Phil Steele, and 2nd team All-American by Lindy's. John was drafted by the Baltimore Ravens 175th overall in the 5th round of the 2014 NFL Draft.
DaQuan Jones - Defensive Tackle

DaQuan earned First-Team All Big Ten his senior season in 2013. He was the 13th Penn State defensive lineman to earn First-Team All Big Ten since 1998. Jones was drafted by the Tennessee Titans 112th overall in the 4th round of the 2014 NFL Draft.
Michael Mauti - Linebacker
2013 Leaf Draft
In 2012, Michael's senior season, he earned First-Team All American and First-Team All Big Ten honors. He also won the Butkis-Fitzgerald Linebacker of the Year Award given to the Big Ten's best linebacker. In 2012 he was named Big Ten Defensive Player of the Week 3 times. Even though several knee injuries forced Michael to miss game throughout his career, he ended with 183 tackles, 4 interceptions, 10 passes broken up and 3 forced fumbles. Mauti was drafted by the Minnesota Vikings 213th overall in the 7th round of the 2013 NFL Draft.
Gerald Hodges - Linebacker

Gerald finished his career at Linebacker U with 249 tackles with 21 of those being for loss. He forced 3 fumbles and grabbed 3 interceptions in his final 2 years. Hodges was instrumental in keeping Penn State football on the map in 2012 and earned himself Honorable Mention All-American. He earned 2nd Team All-Big Ten honors in 2012 and First Team All-Big Ten Honors in 2011. Gerald was drafted by the Minnesota Vikings 120th overall in the 4th round of the 2013 NFL draft.
Jordan Hill - Defensive Tackle

Jordan received All Big Ten honors in 2012 after recording 35 tackles, 8.5 tackles for loss and 4.5 sacks. He had his best game as a senior in the last game of the season vs Wisconsin, recording 2 sacks, 3 tackles for loss and 8 tackles. Hill was drafted by the Seattle Seahawks 87th overall in the 3rd round of the 2013 NFL draft.
Stephfon Green - Running Back
2012 Upper Deck SP Authentic
Stephfon set a number of single-game career highs during his freshman season, including 132 rushing yards against Temple on 9/20/08, and hauled in five receptions against Southern Cal in the 2009 Rose Bowl Game. He finished his career with 1351 rushing yards on 285 carries and 14 touchdowns while totaling 457 yards and 10 touchdowns through the air. Green went undrafted in the 2012 NFL Draft but was signed by the Detroit Lions.
Derek Moye - Wide Receiver

Derek finished his Penn State career as the school's 3rd all time leading receiver. He hauled in 144 receptions for 2395 yards and 18 touchdowns and was named captain his senior season. Moye went undrafted in the 2012 NFL Draft but was signed by the Miami Dolphins.
Devon Still - Defensive Tackle

Devon earned First-Team All-American and All-Big Ten honors and received the Big Ten's Smith-Brown Defensive Lineman of the Year Award in 2011 when he led Penn State with 17 tackles for loss. Still was drafted by the Cincinnati Bengals 53rd overall in the 2nd round of the 2012 NFL Draft.
D'Anton Lynn - Cornerback

D'Anton finished his Penn State career with 97 solo tackles and 162 total tackles. He also totaled 18 passes broken up and 4 interceptions. D'Anton went undrafted in the 2012 NFL Draft but was signed by the New York Jets.
Evan Royster - Running Back

Evan became Penn State's all-time leading rusher in 2010 with 3,932 yards on 686 carries and scored 29 touchdowns. He earned 2nd Team All-Big Ten honors in 2008 when he helped lead Penn State to their 2nd Big Ten title in 4 years. He was drafted by the Washington Redskins 177th overall in the 6th round of the 2011 NFL Draft.
Stefen Wisniewski - Guard/Center
2011 Upper Deck Star Rookies
Stefen earned All-American honors in 2010 and was a 3 time Academic All-American along with earning All-Big Ten honors in 2009 and 2010. He was drafted by the Oakland Raiders 48th overall in the 2nd round of the 2011 NFL Draft.
Jared Odrick - Defensive Line

Jared earned All-American honors in 2009 as well as being named Big Ten Defensive Player of the Year and Defensive Lineman of the Year. He also made All-Big Ten First Team in 2008 and 2009. Jared was drafted by the Miami Dolphins 28th overall in the 1st round of the 2010 NFL Draft.
Daryll Clark - Quarterback

Daryll led Penn State to back to back 11 win seasons and Penn State's first Rose Bowl appearance since 1994. He made First Team All-Big Ten in 2008 and 2009 and was 4x Big Ten Player of the Week. Daryll went undrafted in 2010.

Sean Lee - Linebacker
2010 Press Pass Gold /99
Sean earned First Team All-American honors in 2007. He earned Big Ten Defensive Player of the Week 3 times in 2007 and 2009. Sean Lee medical redshirted in 2008 because of a torn ligament in his knee. Sean was drafted by the Dallas Cowboys 55th overall in the 2nd round of the 2010 NFL Draft.

Navorro Bowman - Linebacker

Navorro earned Big Ten Defensive Player of the Week honors twice and earned First Team All-Big Ten honors in 2008. He was drafted by the San Francisco 49ers 91st overall in the 3rd round of the 2010 NFL Draft.
Deon Butler - Wide Reciever
2009 Donruss Elite /299
Deon holds the single game receiving yards record in Penn State history with 216 yards on 11 receptions against Northwestern in 2006. He is also Penn State's all time leading receptions leader, passing Bobby Engram in his senior season. Deon was drafted by the Seattle Seahawks 91st in the 3rd round of the 2009 NFL Draft.
Derrick Williams - Wide Reciever

Derrick earned First Team All-Big Ten honors in 2008, and helped lead Penn State to a Big Ten title and Orange Bowl victory in 2005. He made Sporting News and All-Big Ten Freshman Teams in 2005 despite breaking his arm against Michigan in the 7th game of the season. Derrick was drafted by the Detroit Lions 82nd overall in the 3rd round of the 2009 NFL Draft.
Dan Connor - Linebacker

Dan earned First Team All American and First Team All-Big Ten honors in 2006 and 2007. In 2007 he won the Chuck Bednarik Award for National Defensive Player of the Year. Dan was drafted by the Carolina Panthers 74th overall in the 3rd round of the 2008 NFL Draft.
Anthony Morelli - Quarterback

Anthony threw for 5,275 yards and 31 touchdowns from 2004 to 2007. He went undrafted in 2008.
Justin King - Cornerback

Justin earned Second Team All-Big Ten honors in 2006 and snapped eventual Heisman Trophy winner Troy Smith's streak of 153 passes without an interception that same season. Justin was drafted by the St. Louis Rams 101st overall in the 4th round of the 2008 NFL Draft.
Tony Hunt - Running Back

Tony was a Doak Walker Award candidate in 2006 when he became only the fifth Nittany Lion running back to rush for 1,000 yards in back to back seasons and the fifth to rush for more than 3,000 yards in his career. Tony was drafted by the Philadelphia Eagles 90th overall in the 3rd round of the 2007 NFL Draft.
Levi Brown - Offensive Tackle

Levi earned Second Team All-American and Second Team All-Big Ten honors in 2005 and 2006. Levi was drafted by the Arizona Cardinals 5th overall in the 1st round of the 2007 NFL Draft.
Paul Posluszny - Linebacker

Paul earned First Team All-Big Ten honors, First Team All-American honors and First Team Academic All-American honors in 2005 and 2006. He won the Dick Butkis Award for the nation's best linebacker in 2005. He twice won the Chuck Bednarik Award for the nation's best defensive player in 2005 and 2006. He helped lead Penn State to their first Big Ten Title since 1994 and an Orange Bowl victory over ACC champion Florida State in 2005. Paul was drafted by the Buffalo Bills 34th overall in the 2nd round of the 2007 NFL Draft.
Alan Zemaitis - Cornerback

Alan earned All-Big Ten honors 3 times and earned Second Team All-American honors in 2005. He was also a semifinalist for the Jim Thorp Award which is given to the nation's top defensive back. Alan helped lead Penn State to an 11-1 record and Orange Bowl victory in 2005. He was drafted by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers 122nd overall in the 4th round of the 2006 NFL Draft.
Michael Robinson - Quarterback

Michael was the Big Ten's Offensive Player of the Year in 2005 after leading Penn State to an 11-1 season, Big Ten Championship and Orange Bowl victory. He finished 5th in Heisman voting in 2005 and shares an NCAA record for most consecutive rushes for a touchdown in a single game with 3 against Louisiana Tech in 2002. Michael was drafted by the San Francisco 49ers 100th overall in the 4th round of the 2006 NFL Draft.

Tamba Hali - Defensive End

Tamba earned Consensus First Team All-American honors and was unanimously named Big Ten Defensive Lineman of the Year in 2005. He also helped lead Penn State to an 11-1 season and a Big Ten championship that same year. Tamba led the Big Ten with 11 sacks (tied for 8th nationally) and had 17 tackles for loss. He was a finalist for the Bronko Nagurski Trophy, presented to the nation's top defensive player, and the Ted Hendrick's Defensive End Award. Tamba set a school record with 7 tackles for loss against Wisconsin in 2005. He was drafted by the Kansas City Chiefs 20th overall in the 1st round of the 2006 NFL Draft.
Larry Johnson - Running Back

Larry became the 10th back in NCAA history to rush for more than 2,000 yards in a season in 2002 and did it in fewer carries than any other back in history. He won the Doak Walker, Jim Brown, Maxwell and Walter Camp Awards that same season. Larry broke the Penn State single game rushing record three times as a senior with the highest total being 327 yards against Indiana. He earned First Team All-American honors in 2002 and finished 3rd in Heisman Trophy voting. Larry was drafted by the Kansas City Chiefs 27th overall in the 1st round of the 2003 NFL Draft.
Bryant Johnson - Wide Receiver

Bryant helped lead Penn State to their first winning season in 3 years and had a career game in an upset and blowout win of #7 Nebraska with 8 catches for 147 yards. He followed that performance up with another 8 reception game for 147 yards and 2 touchdowns in a comeback, overtime loss to Iowa. Bryant was drafted by the Arizona Cardinals 17th overall in the 1st round of the 2003 NFL Draft.
Michael Haynes - Defensive End

Michael was named Big Ten Defensive Player of the Year in 2002. He was drafted by the Chicago Bears 14th overall in the 1st round of the 2003 NFL Draft.
Jimmy Kennedy - Defensive Tackle

Tony Stewart - Tight End

Tony, in 2000, became the first tight end at Penn State to lead the team in receiving since 1979. He earned Honorable Mention All-American honors that same year. He was drafted by the Philadelphia Eagles 147 overall in the 5th round of the 2001 NFL Draft.
LaVar Arrington - Linebacker

LaVar earned First Team All-American honors in 1998 and 1999. He won the Butkus, Bednarik and Lambert Awards that same season. He finished 9th in the Heisman Trophy voting in 1999. LaVar was drafted by the Washington Redskins 2nd overall in the 1st round of the 2000 NFL Draft.
Brandon Short - Linebacker

Brandon was a 4 year starter and 2 time captain at Penn State. He earned First Team All-Big Ten honors in 1998 and 1999 and First Team All-American honors in 1999. He and LaVar Arrington were the first teammates to be finalists for the Butkis Award as the nation's best linebacker. Brandon was drafted by the New York Giants 105th overall in the 4th round of the 2000 NFL Draft.
Courtney Brown - Defensive End

Courtney was drafted by the Cleveland Browns 1st overall in the 2000 NFL Draft.

Chafie caught 88 passes for 1,437 yards and 8 touchdowns in his career at Penn State. He might be best known for his 79 yard game winning touchdown catch late in the 4th quarter against the 9th ranked Miami Hurricanes in 1999. Chafie went undrafted in 2000.
